Terms & Conditions – Amsterdam Food Tasting Tour Experience

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and participation in the food tasting tours (“Tour”) provided by Dutch Experiences BV, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
By booking a Tour / session, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below.

1. Booking & Confirmation
1.1 All bookings must be made online through our website or an authorized partner.
1.2 A booking is confirmed only after full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.
1.3 Participants are responsible for ensuring their contact details are correct at the time of booking.

2. Participation Requirements
2.1 Sessions are suitable for adults and children aged 8 and over.

3. Dietary Restrictions & Allergies
3.1 We offer tastings that may include dairy, gluten, nuts, seafood, and other allergens.
3.2 Participants must notify us of dietary requirements or allergies at least 48 hours before the Tour.
3.3 While we do our best to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

4. Pricing & Payment
4.1 All prices are listed in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Payment must be completed at the time of booking.
4.3 Prices may change, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Customer Cancellations
5.1 Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the Tour start time will receive a full refund.
5.2 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the Tour are non-refundable.
5.3 No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
Provider Cancellations
5.4 We reserve the right to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, safety concerns, insufficient bookings).
5.5 In such cases, customers will be offered a full refund or rescheduling option.

6. Changes & Rescheduling
6.1 Requests to reschedule must be made at least 48 hours before the session.
6.2 Rescheduling is subject to availability.
6.3 Sessions may be modified slightly due to vendor availability, seasonal changes, or local events.

7. Tour Conduct
7.1 Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, other guests, and local businesses.
7.2 We reserve the right to remove any participant engaging in disruptive or unsafe behavior without refund.

8. Liability Disclaimer
8.1 Participation is at your own risk.
8.2 Dutch Experiences BV is not liable for:
• personal injury or illness during the session
• lost or stolen personal belongings
• delays caused by traffic, weather, or third parties
8.3 Food is provided by independent vendors. We are not responsible for the preparation methods of third-party establishments.

9. Photography & Marketing
9.1 During the session, photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes.
9.2 By participating, you grant permission for your image to be used unless you inform us in writing before the session begins.

10. Privacy & Data Protection
10.1 We handle personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
10.2 Customer information is used only for Tour-related communication and will never be sold to third parties.

11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
• natural disasters
• strikes
• pandemics
• government restrictions
• transport interruptions

12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
Any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam.
